Committees
Aerospace
The mission of the Aerocomm Committee is attract and retain aerospace and aerospace-related programs in the AV.
Meets the 2nd Thursday of Feb., April, June, Aug., Oct., & Dec.
Education
The mission of the Education Committee is to foster pertinent educational opportunities in the AV along with promoting business involvement with educational issues. Committee Chairs: Teresa Howard, AVUHSD and Van Rider, AVC

Healthcare
The mission of the Healthcare Committee is to highlight the importance of a superior healthcare system to enhance the quality of life, business success and economic development of the AV. Committee Chair: Ben Gocke, Southwest Healthcare Palmdale Regional Medical Center
Meets the 1st Thursday of Jan., March, May, July, Sep., & Nov.
Legislative
The mission of the Legislative Committee is to monitor legislative issues of interest to AV EDGE’s mission and to facilitate two-way communication between economic drivers in the AV and our legislative representatives. Committee Chair: Mark Hemstreet, Destination Lancaster
Meets every 2nd Monday of the month.
Transportation/Infrastructure
The mission of the Transportation/Infrastructure Committee is to identify transportation solutions that will attract and retain business and industry to the AV. Committee Chair: Matthew Gaines, I.U.O.E. Local Union No. 12
Meets every 4th Thursday of the month.
