City of Lancaster’s Small Business Development Center partnering with organizations to administer PPE equipment

Dec 12, 2020 | News

The City of Lancaster’s Small Business Development Center is partnering with organizations to administer PPE equipment to small businesses at The Antelope Valley Fairgrounds on Saturday, January 9th, 2021 by appointment only.

California and Los Angeles County has procured millions of PPE and, through its partners, have streamlined a distribution system to make it available for free to eligible small businesses that sign up. The PPE Unite™ program is a joint effort to give small business owners and their employees access to much-needed personal protective gear. This public and private partnership program creates access to PPE, promotes PPE use, and provides additional resources for businesses. This PPE has been made available to California small businesses through the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) in collaboration with the Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA).
